As some of you will no doubt have seen on our Instagram account, NOLA Brighton will be closing its doors for the last time on Sunday 11th August. We’re not disappearing completely - NOLA Manchester and the online service are unaffected and will continue as before.
It’s a bittersweet moment for us to be leaving the city where NOLA was born over 20 years ago. We will miss the shop terribly but the combination of family commitments, staff changes and lease arrangements means that now is a good time for us to say goodbye to our Gardner Street home. NOLA was created in Brighton and we have learned everything we know from the stylish people who have passed through our door in our time here. We will take this fiercely independent spirit with us as we continue our journey in a different location.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has shopped with us, everyone who has worked here and the many labels that have graced our rails over the years.
We’d also like to thank our fellow traders, who have been a great support to us from the day we opened our doors. Go anywhere else and you realise what a unique retail experience Brighton provides. Times are difficult for all of us little guys so please shop local and shop independent.
On a practical note, if you have any physical gift vouchers or credit notes, don’t worry. Either bring them in or send us an email with a picture to info@nolaboutique.co.uk and we will exchange them for gift vouchers that can be used online or in the Manchester store, should you find yourself up that way.
